About
About Me:
I’m certainly not a full-time photographer, but I really enjoy capturing the world around me. I’m really intrigued by landscape photography, but I’m warming up to portraits and editorial photography of events and life on the street. I’m from Delta, BC and enjoy exploring the surrounding areas. On the occasions that I get to travel (for work or otherwise) I always bring along a camera, whether it be my phone or my DSLR.
I find that I’m really interested in the technical aspects of photography, or at least that is what initially drew my attention. Now, I’m finding that it’s a good tool to look at my experiences from different angles. Photography also helps me clear my mind and relax – if it were stressful, I don’t think I’d be doing it. I’m continually learning new techniques and approaches to photography, I really don’t think there will be a point when I’ve mastered it all, but that’s half the fun!
As far as gear goes, I primarily shoot with my Canon DSLR and point-and-shoot, but I’m happy to use anything from my phone to some older 35mm Minolta and Olympus cameras that I have collected.
Your comments are always appreciated and I’m happy to share my thoughts on photography with whomever is willing to ask – feel free to be in touch via the Contact page.
